Delighted to share the India celebrated the “Cultural day” at our Pune office, which had overwhelming participation from all our employees be it the Indian employees or our Chinese representatives from all around China. This also gave an excellent opportunity to share some of the similarities of the two most ancient cultures and diverse countries.
Culture shapes our identity and influences our behaviors
, and cultural diversity makes us accept, and even to some extent, integrate and assimilate with other cultures. One of the most important first steps employees can take to learn about other cultures is to simply accept that there are many different cultures other than their own. It was a great opportunity to start thinking about the positives of different cultures and how surrounding ourselves with diverse groups of people can enrich our career and life.
In today’s world if we all are open to respect and know about other cultures, and respect their values and belief, life would be easier for most of us, and we can learn a lot of good things from each other.
“World is One” yet we all carry different identities represented by what we wear, eat, believe and celebrate. The India Ethnic day celebration was to come together and celebrate our diversity as ” India Ethnic Day”. Which allowed all of us to go back to our roots and share with others our uniqueness. A resounding message which was heard and felt by one and all was “Let’s be One TEAM”.
